No. I know you didn't hear when God called Shawn to Slovenia. You weren't there, but Shawn was and he heard it LOUD and CLEAR. And after years of God's leading and guiding us there, it was obvious to me as well. And I think if we had hours to share some of these stories with you, then you too, would be ROCKED by a Great Planner.
You see, I was where some of you are at now... many years ago... Cautiously watching to see if God REALLY is leading this whole journey, and almost wondering if time will prove the opposite (that we weren't called).

And NOW, we are sitting here fully funded :) YAY. That's a miracle in itself with this economy! Obviously, it couldn't have happened without great generosity. Our Visas got denied the first time around (which is no small thing). A heart-break if I could say so. So now we are doing it the slow, "old fashioned" way, and we are confident in its approval, as many others have done it this way.
The wonder starts to set in to many minds, "Are they really supposed to go?" "Why would God deny the Visa?" "What are they doing?" Trust me, we heard it. The excitement dropped and the red alert came on.
WOW, that makes this really hard! What do we say to people? How can we explain it? We've been on this journey for 10 years (which felt like forever) seeing God plan place-to-place, but now these last six months have almost been even harder than the last ten years.
Though many won't say it, they are wondering if this really is God. Watching and waiting to see what will happen next. We start to put human brain power together and make assumptions as to what is going on instead of believe that God is in control of everything. We don't have all the pieces yet. We know He's called, we know He's led us back out to Oregon, and we also know that the Visa process is taking much longer this time around. But that doesn't say anything about the call to go to Slovenia and to be a part of what God is doing there. That is CLEAR.
This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine. Don't let Satan blow it out, I'm going to let it shine. Hebrews 10:35 ~ Remember your confidence. Remember God's faithfulness in the past. Stay strong in the faith. Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but rather set an example. Genesis 22 ~ Abraham didn't understand, but he was confident of what God had asked him to do. What for? Did it make any sense? Not to Abraham, but he obeyed. Incredible Confidence and Faith in a Good God.
