Make your own house hold cleaners/laundry soap

I got these recipes from a very good friend and I love them.

Why do I make them instead of buying them???
#1. It saves a ton of money
#2. I feel like I am a little closer to being like a Proverbs 31 woman when I do this :)
#3.  They are very easy to make and NATURAL

    • Natural Cleaners Household Cleaners:
Wood polish: 50% Olive Oil/50% Lemon Juice

      Counter-tops/sinks/toilets/appliances:
      40% Vinegar/60% Water

      Mirrors/windows/faucets/upholstery/clothes/carpets:
      50% Alcohol/50% Water

      LAUNDRY SOAP:

Ingredients: Fels Naptha bar soap, Arm & Hammer Washing Soda, Borax, and water

      Directions:
      1. In a large pot, heat 6 cups water on stove-top to low boil

      2. Cheese grate 1/3 bar Fels Naptha soap in and let melt (stir a little)

      3. In microwave, heat 4 cups water to boiling.

      4. Add 1 cup Borax and 1 cup Washing Soda to Fels Naptha mixture and stir gently til dissolved.

      5. Pour mixture in pot into large bucket *

      6. Pour you 4 cups microwaved water into the bucket and stir.

      7. Add 1 gallon plus 4 cups cold water to the bucket and stir.

      8. Let set for about 24 hours, then stir up gently before first use.

      * I use a 5 gallon bucket, and I double the recipe. The double batch nearly fills the bucket, and I don't have to make it quite so often!

*Also the soap will be "gloopy-gloppy". This is good. Use the amount you normally use in you laundry. (I actually find that you can use less, and it works just as efficiently!)
      The Virtuous Wife (Proverbs 31)
10 Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of gain.
12 She does him good and not evil
All the days of her life.
13 She seeks wool and flax,
And willingly works with her hands.
      ...
      25 Strength and honor are her clothing;
She shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom,
And on her tongue is the law of kindness.
      ...
30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
