Summer

Taking a quick glance at the summer so far...

Shawn helped build cabins intended for a youth camp.
We've had a little of everything. But it has definitely been difficult. It feels as though we've all been Rock climbing and maybe it's not just a feeling. By "Rock climbing" I don't just mean literally, but also mean doing the work set before us and watching the Rock, which is Jesus Christ, do an amazing and wonderful job bringing kids into the Kingdom Family and using us for part of His glorious plan.

We had some fun as a family for Nathan's birthday and brought one of his good friends with us.

We got the little "puddle" pool out to have some summer fun :) I even hopped in with them.

We all went to English camp as a family. After all, this is a family ministry :) And the kids loved every bit of it. Our kids and the camper kids had a blast! It was so precious to see our kids interacting and going to bed at night praying for specific kids to find Jesus and being involved in sharing Jesus. I am so proud of each one of my kids :)

Rachel and Andrea
Our two interns. They helped so much. Adding more workers to gather the harvest was such a help. They also watched the kids for Shawn and I a few times so we could get out on a date :) It's been awesome to have their help and work with us. We couldn't do all we did with out them! We are sad they have to go home.

We had a team from America help us. We can't run camp with out them!!! And we will need more teams every year, so if God calls you, Contact us :)

39 of these kids said that they want to take a step closer to Jesus and would like to know more about Him. 39! 39, that number blows me away. God is really working in their hearts. 9 kids asked prayed to receive Him as Savior!

Work is play and play is work!!!

There is so much more we did this summer. I can't capture it with one blog... but watching our family work together and pray for the youth and be burdened together was probably my highlight so far. Working together... as a family :)
