Our family got in the car 45 minutes early last night!!! So I told Shawn that we weren't too early if he would just drive REAL slow :) We were on our way to visit Dalkena Community Church in Newport, WA and got to a stop sign in Deer Park when we noticed a cloud of smoke. "Is that us?" I asked Shawn. He then looked at the temp. gauge and the engine was pegged hot! He immediately pulled over opened the hood to discover we blew the radiator hose. I thank God for his provision and His goodness to plan it to happen then and there. It couldn't have happened at a better time.
And I'm going to tell you why...
1. We were early
2. It was day time so he could see
3. We were only five blocks from NAPA Auto Parts,
and that was the ONLY town we passed the whole 50 min. drive!
4. It wasn't raining or snowing
5. I wasn't by myself!!!
It was a miracle that our engine did not blow up. God has used this Suburban to remind us many times that God is in control of all things and that He is taking care of us.
Oh, and we did get to Dalkena just in time.
