The stepping stones in life...

A lesson God is teaching and challenging us with... stepping out in faith.

God has given me a picture and encouraging Shawn and I once more to step out in faith. I was actually given a picture of a river (representing our life on earth) with rocks as stepping stones of "faith". I was hesitating stepping on the next stone of faith imagining or worrying that maybe this next stone of faith was going to be an alligator or something :) And then God reminded me that He has plans to prosper us and not to harm us. I was still hesitating and thought to myself as I was praying and talking to God, I told Him "ok, maybe not an alligator, but I am worried that there would be no stone to step on and I would fail or sink in this river of life." 

He then reminded me gently, softly, and lovingly that Peter walked on water and I would too if I stepped out in faith. What a comfort to know from God that He is in control!

So here we go. We have to return our trailer to it's owner which is forcing us to step out in faith. We thought last year that we'd be departing for Slovenia, but God had waiting plans which is another story of growing in Christ. Maybe that's why this step is a little harder to make. Things did not go the way we expected last time. But for now, we are trusting and hoping and praying that while we are on the road, our visa's will be approved for us and we will be ready to leave when we arrive in Denver Colorado. Who knows??? Only God!!! and that is enough :) We simply need to take this step.

March 19  -  Courage

I am here. Fear not. Can you really trust Me? I am a God of Power, as well as a Man of Love, so human, yet so divine.

Just trust. I cannot, and I will not, fail you. All is well. Courage.
