How do you know that the door is open? Is it obvious? Is it the easy way of doing things that means God has "opened the door" or is it the way that my nature is fighting, that makes it God's open door?
I'm so thankful that it is not always the difficult choice in life He's calling me too, but a time of resting by His green pastures. And I'm also thankful for life's challenges as they build my characater and faith through His faithfulness of bringing us through time and time again.
I've realized that communicating to God through the Word, Prayer, and Godly Councel has been the biggest guide to lead me through life in obedience to Him. I don't want to spend my life trying to 'pick the lock' of the door God has closed. I'll never get in! I'll just waste my time as I reject Christ's path and life with out the blessings He wants me to experience.
Yes, I'll admit it, sometimes I see the door God wants me to walk through and it has some of my BIGGEST fears right inside. But with His power and holding His hand, I'll make it out stronger EVERY time.
It's not about the hardest choice or easiest choice that makes it godly, BUT is about the peace and joy that comes from doing what is right. OBEYING CHRIST!
